“It’s not the destination, it’s the endless, exhausting jovrney.”

A series of 2-color letterpress prints. This quote is from the podcast “Welcome to Nightvale,” and when I heard it I was inspired. I wanted to use some type in the KUCD collection I hadn’t used yet and experiment with using sorts as other letters. When I chose the colors I looked toward the existing branding of the podcast and found that purple and orange evoke the absurd nature of the podcast’s narrative and even more so when offsetting the layers. It was another successful and fun experience printing and learning on the letterpress.
