A Short Graphic Novel

Scourge tells the story of Boudicca of the Inceni taking a stand against the conquering Roman legion in a short graphic novel highlighting a lesser known historical figure. This graphic novel explores a darker illustrative style and creates a depiction of Boudicca that contradicts the overly sexualized and Romanized depictions that already exist.

My first little graphic novel.

I wanted to write about someone I’d never heard of and draw them in a style I’d never tried digitally before.

And I couldn’t be happier with it.
